Mental Illness Awareness Week was this past week (October 6th – October 12th) and you might’ve seen various mental health related organizations recognize the work they do in their communities.
Did you find time to bring awareness to mental illness and mental health issues? What kinds of activities did you engage in?
At Suicide Prevention, we work everyday with all types of individuals struggling with a multitude of mental health concerns, diagnoses, symptoms, and illnesses. Our crisis lines, school education and prevention program, and suicide loss support groups provide crisis intervention, assistance, resource referral, comfort, support, education, and easily-accessible help free of charge.
